  • Comet Cash

Do you want to save money off your school tuition?

Don't forget about buying comet cash!

This is a script program in which you buy gift cards to help you pay for groceries, gas, dining out, local and national retailers and even getting your car washed.    For every gift card you buy, a percentage of the sale comes back to our school.  50% of that money goes to help send our teachers to required continuing education classes, and 50% goes towards paying your school tuition!   For example - if you spend $200 per week in groceries, and buy a Kroger Card which pays 3% back, that equals $6 dollars per week, $3 of which goes to the school, and $3 goes to you.   Over the course of 52 weeks, that equals $156 dollars off your tuition.   Add in $100 a week for gas (easily done these days) at 3%, which equals $78 dollars per year in tuition savings as well.   This adds up to a grand total of $234 dollars per year off your tuition just to pay for things you have to buy every week.   And the best thing is it costs you nothing extra to do fundraising for our school and your tuition!

We have set a goal to raise $12,000 dollars for our teachers and $12,000 in tuition savings this year.   We are currently at $10,500 and need your help to meet this goal by May 31st.

If this goal is met, the students will receive an out of uniform day at school!  Please purchase comet cash in these next two months.   Remember comet cash can also make great gifts for Mother's day, end of the year teacher gifts, and birthday presents.   If you have any questions about how to sign up for this program or purchase comet cash, please contact Jill Seaton at 648-9911. Order forms are available on Renweb, and they can be sent in through school and the cards will be sent back home with your student.   You can also buy these cards after all the masses every weekend.  Thanks for your support of this program!

  • Accelerated Reader
This is the book wizard site. You can plug in a students reading level and then search for books under a certain category that they are interested. So for example, if you click leveled search, you can say that you have a 4th grader, you want a chapter book, and they enjoy adventure books. When you click search, it will pull up a list of books for you, tell you the level, interest level, and whether or not is an AR book. Just wanted to pass this along!
