Announcements

  • Halloween

On Friday October 31st, our primary grade children (K-3 grade) will have a Halloween celebration. The children may bring school appropriate costumes (weapons and costumes of a violent nature are to be avoided) and change shortly before their parade. Starting at @ 1:45 p.m. Kindergarten children will parade through the 1-3 classrooms. K-3 grade will go to the gym to parade for parents who wish to come.

The Parade for Parents will begin @ 2:00 p.m. in the gym. In order to avoid congestion in our hallways, ALL parents are asked to come to our gym between 1:45 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. for the parade. Please enter the school through the gym door entrance, which will be open @ 1:45 p.m., and go directly to the gym.

All Class Parties for K-8 will start at 2:15 and will conclude @ 3:00 p.m. to allow time for an end-of-the-day wrap-up with the children before the 3:15 p.m. dismissal. We are requesting that parents leave the classrooms at 3:00 p.m. In order to promote greater security and safety for our children, we also ask that  parents NOT take students from the classroom at 3:00 p.m., but wait for them to be dismissed at 3:15 p.m. Your cooperation and support is appreciated!

  • Please remember to order lunches on-line by Friday
Lunches must be ordered by this date. Please send in payments to the  office or pay online through Renweb. If you wish to print out the menu, just right click on the calendar for November, select all, right click again and print. Everyone (including free/reduced) must order on-line for an accurate count. Thank You for your cooperation!
  • AR Store

Our 1-4 grade AR store - Thursday, November 6 from 1:00-3:00. We could use some volunteers! If you would like to volunteer, please contact Mrs. Selburg at julieselburg@stthomas-school.net Thank you to everyone who has been donating items to our AR store! It makes the store so much fun when the students have a variety of items to choose from. Some parents have asked what they can donate, and here is what we suggest:

?           Any small toy (such as a Happy Meal toy)

?           Collector cards, such as baseball, soccer, hockey,  basketball, football

    ?           Children's jewelry

    ?           Rosaries (also, very popular)

?           St. Thomas spiritwear (t-shirts, sweatshirts)

?           Sports equipment (in good condition)

Anything that is school appropriate and students would enjoy!

  • October is Respect Life Month for our Church.

We would like to participate by collecting layette items for the Christ Child Society, the Catholic charity of our Diocese with a mission to help pregnant mothers and newborn babies in need.  Please drop off or send in with your child new baby bottles, onesies, or sleepers to the bins located outside the office.  If you would rather donate a check, of course that would be most welcome.  Please send it to the office in an envelope labeled Christ Child Society.

Thank you so much for anything you can do for these precious lives.
